Stolen goods recovered

A VARIETY of stolen goods, including electrical goods, clothing, wallets and mobile phones, was found when a stolen vehicle crashed into a power pole on Leake Street at 8pm on Thursday night, August 21.

Police officers arrested a 16-year-old female and a 14-year-old male who were travelling in the Ford Falcon car from Norseman. A third occupant involved escaped the scene on foot.

Both juveniles appeared at the Esperance Children’s Court via a video link to Kalgoorlie on Friday, August 22.

The female was charged with one count of aggravated burglary, two counts of stealing a motor vehicle and one count of stealing.

The male was charged with two counts of aggravated burglary, one count of stealing a motor vehicle and two counts of stealing.

Another two juveniles, both 17-year-old males, were arrested on Friday.

One was charged with five counts of burglary, four counts of stealing and two counts of stealing a motor vehicle.

The other was charged with four counts of aggravated burglary, three counts of stealing and one count of stealing a motor vehicle.

They appeared at Esperance Children’s Court the next day via a video link to Carnarvon.

All four juveniles appeared before the Kalgoorlie Children’s Court on Monday, August 25 and were remanded to various dates.
